Manipur Observes 2 Years Of Ethnic Conflict Through Shutdown, Public Meets And Tightened Security
A shut down is being observed in Meitei and Kuki-Zo areas in Manipur even as large numbers of Central Armed Police Forces are conducting Flag March in and around Imphal City. Security measures have been further strengthened inna great deal since today marks the two years of the ethnic violence between Meitei and Kuki-Zo communities that has begun on May 3, 2023. Both Meitei and Kuki-Zo-Hmar community organisations have organised separate programmes on Saturday to mark the second anniversary of the outbreak of ethnic conflict in Manipur.
